"“If you would be wealthy, think of saving as well as getting."

Benjamin Franklin
Sally Saver Timeline

The birth and evolution of the Sally Saver Series.

Sally Saver meets Sam Spender at a community event sponsored by the You Can Save Bank her grandparents use where Sam Spender’s dad is president.

Billy Budget’s mom was showing Frugal Freddie’s mom a house for rent next to Sally Saver’s house. Billy’s mom tried to persuade Freddie’s mom that she could rent-to-buy, even on a tight budget.

Rick Slickster has been neighbors with Frugal Freddie for years. When Freddie’s mom rented the house next to Sally’s, Rick helped him and his mother move into the new house.

Casey Cash met Sam Spender at a mall trying on new shoes. “Those look dope! Get those,” Sam encouraged her to buy them, and she did.

Sally Saver’s grandparents were planting flowers in the garden when a neighbor, Casey Cash’s grandmother brought them lemonade. They all introduced themselves to Billy’s and Freddie’s mother. Sally’s grandparents told Freddie’s mom about the nice president of You Can Save Bank and offered to take her there the next day.

Sam Spender’s parents had a house warming party to welcome Frugal Freddie’s mom into the new house. They invited Sally Saver’s grandparents, Casey Cash’s grandmother, and Billy Budget’s mother. Rick Slickster’s dad let Rick go to the party. The kids all go into the backyard to play and are whisked away on a magical adventure.
